Now that autumn is here, it’s time to enjoy all the fun fall trends! The greatest way to start the season is not just to drink all the Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes, visit a pumpkin patch, or listen to All Too Well on repeat. By snuggling up on your couch and enjoying some of the best fall movies, you can set the mood for the season. Here are some of the top four fall films to help you feel cozy and festive during the fall season.

Little Women (2019): This film is certainly one of the greatest fall movies to watch if you want to get into the spirit of the season, thanks to its cozy aesthetics, family- and sisterly bonding themes, and scenes centered around the changing seasons. Additionally, it’s a film that will undoubtedly hit close to home for viewers and leave you with a warm, cozy feeling.

Knives Out (2019): Knives Out is the ideal fall movie because, although it is a year-round favorite, it takes place in the fall. With its gorgeous autumnal color scheme, the characters’ fall outfits, and the setting based on the fall season, Knives Out is a must-see during sweater weather.

It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966), or A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (1973): Of course, the iconic Charlie Brown movies had to be included on the list. These movies will always make you nostalgic for the holidays and bring back childhood memories. Watching these films again usually makes me feel very cozy because I remember seeing them when I was younger. These movies are always a must-watch throughout the fall season, whether it’s because of the lovable friendship narratives, the appealing old aesthetic, or the fun fall storylines.

The Twilight Saga (2008–2012): Due to its ominous, cool-toned aesthetics and suspenseful plot, Twilight is one of those movies that will always give you a sense that it is fall. Twilight is a fantastic movie to see since it instantly gives you that fall feeling, with sweaters, chilly weather, and a gloomy atmosphere, making it the perfect film for a rainy fall night.
