1. 40 Tempura Sushi

Initially the restaurant is in an unimpressive location, but once you enter… it is dimly lit but usually at least mildly busy and considering some week days can be very slow, having anyone there is impressive. You are politely greeted and the server is trained to routinely re-fill water. The experience is impressive. The waiters and waitresses are very professional as well as the speed of the arrival of food. The food comes out very quickly considering the amount of people in the restaurant usually. They have numerous options of hibachi, sushi, bento box and more which gives many choices for customers. What makes it special is the good service, fast food, and the taste seems fresh and of good quality. I think it is perfect for a date night or night with your parents. However, it would not likely be a good place for friends because it is a quieter place. A loud friend group might disrupt the ambience which is calm and welcoming.

2. Sushi Masa

The initial impression is that the place is fancy. Many people go dressed up. It looks modern and as if it was recently built. There are many lights that give the place light. The place is one of the biggest restaurants that I have been in college station which gives it an impressive feel. It has the option to do “all you can eat” which makes it affordable to try as many sushi rolls as you want. The “all you can eat” also includes dessert and drinks and other food options which make it a big steal! This place is perfect for a date or night with friends as there are many people in the restaurant. The ability to share rolls and try everything make it such an experience.

3. Tanaka ramen

Tanaka Ramen has a beautiful ambience with a very clean set-up. The waiters are very attentive to re-filling water and checking up on you and not rushing the check. The ramen is different than other places because they give more meat/protein than most of the other places I have experienced. They provide all ingredients such as egg, bamboo, and greens. As well they have many options on their menu. It is usually a calmer restaurant which I enjoy. It is a perfect business meeting date place and a great place for a group of friends because of their restaurant format. They have many big tables to hold large parties.
