COLLEGE STATION, April 13th, 2023 – The First Friday of April of 2023.

First Friday of April – April 7th, 2023 in Bryan, Texas – was a sight for sore eyes. It represented the coming of spring and summer, more accurately described by the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” Despite the rain, the BCS community gathered together in downtown Bryan to celebrate the first Friday in a new month.

“Despite the rain and cold, there was a surprisingly amount of people and vendors walking throughout the streets,” said Xyleyna Medina, a student at Texas A&M. This was her first time experiencing First Friday. “The breakdancers and going through the old antique shops were definitely my favorite part.”

Between the breakdancers, musicians, jewelry booths, and even college students coming for the first time, the BCS community braved the weather together and enjoyed celebrating the First Friday in April, together.
