BRYAN COLLEGE STATION, Dec 9th, 2022 – First Friday in December happened in Downtown Bryan on December 2.

First Friday celebrated much more than the start of a new month. The month of the Holidays always brings an amazing First Friday experience. The historic downtown Bryan was embellished with lights and decorations.

Similar to your regular First Friday, the streets of downtown Bryan were packed. There was live music, dances, pop-up booths, local artists displays, and food trucks. But this event in the Holiday season offers the perfect atmosphere for getting into the Holiday Spirit. In addition to carolers, lights, and Holiday music being played, there was a Holiday Window Decoration Contest for which window had the best decorations.

“The First Friday of December is always my favorite,” says John Lloyd, a local in the Bryan College Station area. “There is something so comforting about it.”

First Friday is always a memorable experience, and that experience can easily be enhanced during the holiday season. If you missed it this year, do not fret! First Friday in December comes every year so make sure to mark your calendar for December 1, 2023.
