Aggie Ring Day is long anticipated by many as a day full of celebration and excitement for such an exceptional achievement. This Ring Day, April 8, 2016, was the biggest in Texas A&M history. Along with a few thousand other proud Texas Aggies, some of the Her Campus Texas A&M team got their Aggie Rings!
Co-editor and campus correspondent Erum Salam. Salam is a communication major.
“Ring day was the highlight of my college career so far,” Salam said. “I really felt like all those classes I took for many years were worth something. My ring was always a tangible goal to remind myself I had done something important here. I loved that my parents could see how grateful I am to them for funding my education. I’m so glad my friends and family got to share the excitement with me. I still can’t believe I’m a senior.”
Co-editor and campus correspondent Leana Lares. Lares is a communication major and journalism minor.
“Finally getting that Aggie Gold was surreal,” Lares said. “It makes me so proud to be an Aggie, and I am so grateful to have had the support of my family throughout the whole process.”
Secretary Kelsey Munoz. Munoz is an allied health major and business minor.
“Having this ring on my finger symbolizes hard work, friendships, and memories made during my 4 years of college,” Munoz said. “I can’t imagine not being an Aggie and wouldn’t trade my time here for the world. I love my school, the traditions, and the people here, and it is true what they say about this place–there really is a spirit that can never be told.”
Congratulations to everyone who put an Aggie ring on it!
