Meet our last campus cutie of the semester, a grad student who finished his undergrad at Centenary College and LSU, John Reeks.
Her Campus TAMU: What is your major?
John Reeks: I’m getting my masters in Material Science and Engineering.
HC TAMU: What do you want to do when you graduate?
JR: Hopefully industrial search of some kind maybe in biomedical materials. Â
HC TAMU: Where are you from?
JR: Shreveport
HC TAMU: How old are you?
JR: 24
HC TAMU: What are your hobbies?
JR: I like to play sports. I like soccer and I played tennis in college. Basketball is alright but it’s kind of boring.
HC TAMU: What is your favorite sports team?
JR: I would say LSU Tigers but I feel like that would rub some people the wrong way here. I like Bayern Munich and the Saints but I don’t really follow pro sports that much. I prefer to play than to watch.
HC TAMU: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
JR: I don’t know probably Louisiana, Texas or Australia.
HC TAMU: What is your favorite candy bar?
JR: Three-musketeers
HC TAMU: Are you single?
JR: Yes
HC TAMU: What do you look for in a girl?
JR: I like her to be confident, good at things, pretty, and think I’m funny.
HC TAMU: What is your favorite superhero? /Why?
JR: Batman for lots of reasons. He’s interesting from a psychological standpoint. But he’s also a superhero who when he fights crime he doesn’t have all these powers to back him up and chances are he is going to die. He is risking everything for people he hasn’t met because he thinks that’s what is right.
HC TAMU: If you could have any super power what would it be?
JR: Fly
