With Super Bowl Sunday coming up, those of us who live on campus may be wondering what the best way to watch the game (or just the halftime show) might be. Whether you’re watching from your bed or you would rather enjoy the energy of a large group, this is a guide on where to watch the Super Bowl.
1) The Stud
Your best option is most likely watching the game in the Stud, but make sure you get there early. Not only do they project the game onto the big screen, but there’s free pizza, wings, snacks, and drinks. Also you can enter to win prizes. You can’t ask for much more!
2) TDubs
With all the TVs around TDubs, at least one if not all of them, is bound to be playing the game. They also run specials on pizza and wings for the Super Bowl that you can buy with points or cash.
3) Residence Hall Lounge
Whether your CA organized a floor event or you decide to start your own, many Residence Hall lounges have TVs which you can use to watch the game.
4) Your Dorm
Whether you want to prop the door open and invite people in, or you just want to laugh at the commercials in solitude, those with TVs in their room can connect it to the cable provided in every dorm room and watch the game that way. Additionally, CBS will be live streaming the game making it possible to watch on your laptop.
5) Go Out
While campus does provide several great options, you could make a trip with friends. There are several restaurants near campus that would make good options to watch the game and enjoy some apps. Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebees, both a short drive to Route 1 from campus, offer great food options and great ways to watch the game while enjoying a night out with friends.
