Five Races to Run This Fall

TCNJ collegiettes love to stay fit! On any given day you’ll see tons of people running the loop either getting in shape for a club sport or just enjoying feeling healthy.  Running is a great way to feel good about yourself. Setting goals and accomplishing them brings us collegiettes so much happiness.  No matter your experience level, find a race that’s right for you this fall. Push your limits outside of the loop and sign up for one of these local races you can start training for now!
 

Sunday, October 20th – Runners World Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Bethlehem, Pa.

If you’re into reading about running as much as you love doing it, take this opportunity to run with the editors and writers of Runners World Magazine! The 5K and 10K take place that Saturday and the half marathon that Sunday. Run throughout Bethlehem and Lehigh University and celebrate your accomplishments in the festival afterwards. Sunday, November 3rd – Princeton Half Marathon, Princeton, N.J.

This half marathon is perfect for runners with a little more experience. The course runs through the Princeton University Campus and throughout other parts of the city. Proceeds from the race go to HiTOPS Health Center, a local non-profit pertaining to adolescent health care.  Register here!
 

Saturday, November 9th – Trenton Half and 10K, Trenton, N.J.

This race will take runners throughout parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and along the Delaware River.  Majority of the course is flat with some occasional hills.  Proceeds from the race benefit a variety of local charities. Register here!
 

Sunday, November 18th – Philadelphia Marathon, Half Marathon, and 8K

This race is a history lovers dream!  The race takes runners throughout the cities many universities and historical landmarks like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.  The full and half marathons take place on the 18th while the 8K takes place on the 17th. Proceeds from the race go to a variety of national charities. Register here!
