We have all heard of “manifesting,” and some might even be familiar with “the law of attraction,” but what do these terms really mean? Manifestation refers to the practice of bringing something tangible into your life through positive thinking, energy, and belief. In short, you can create your reality using the energy you put out in the world as well as the law of attraction. While the law of attraction is somewhat philosophical, it is based on the idea that positive thoughts hold positive energy and that this energy can be used to bring about significant change in your life: financial, relationship, or other personal success.
Manifesting in action, some Do’s and Don’ts:
Do: Write it down. Sometimes writing down your desires helps solidify them and can make them clearer and therefore more attainable.
Do: Speak in the present tense. Expressing yourself as though you already have what you want can help attract positive results.
Do: Set your intentions. Knowing exactly what you want can help you achieve the change you are searching for.
Do: Trust the process. The idea might seem silly at first, but the more positive energy you put in, the more you get out. OR “the more positive energy you put out, the more positivity you will attract.”
Do: Be specific and clear. A particular focus can help you get more accurate results.
Do: Put out positive energy into the world. Karma is real! Being a positive person can bring positivity right back to you.
Don’t: Expect 100% of what you manifest to come true. Some things are just not meant to be, no matter how intensely you want them.
Don’t: Get discouraged. Continue to attract what is yours and let go of what isn’t.
Don’t: Expect change right away. Manifesting is a process; what’s meant to be will find you.
Don’t: Expect change to come in one specific way. Change can come in ways you least expect, so keep an open mind and be grateful for everything.
Don’t: Have doubt and negative energy. Positive thinking attracts positive energy.
Some other forms of manifestation:
Affirmations hold so much power. They can help motivate you to reach your dreams and goals by helping you concentrate on what you want. They can also help replace some negative thinking with more positive, inspiring thoughts. Often affirmations are a simple way to connect with yourself and remind yourself that you are on the right path in life.
Some daily affirmations:
I do not chase _______, I attract __________. What belongs to me, will simply find me.
I am getting healthier and happier each day.
I am so grateful for all I have been given and all the positive things coming my way.
I love myself for who I am and do not have to change for anyone or anything.
I am in charge of my happiness and success.
The best is yet to come.
Every day is a blessing, and I am grateful for EVERYTHING!
