As I was scanning the HerCampuspage during my daily Pinterest procrastination, I was instantly inspired by the nail art featured on the page. I fell in love with this nude manicure with glitter on the index finger. Neutral nail polish is a major trend right now, and the shades of nude keep your nails looking clean and neat. I love the nude nail trend, but I love glitter even more so I had to try this look!
I started my manicure with two coats of OPI’s Samoan Sand. This color is a perfect match for my skin tone, but any neutral shade would work. After it dried, I applied two coats of Essie’s Set In Stones to both of my ring fingers.
After taking a moment to admire my handiwork, I realized there was something missing. While I loved the classy neutral color paired with a hint of fun sparkles, I couldn’t resist adding a little bit more glitter! I added more sparkles to the tips of the rest of my nails to complete the look. If you want to recreate my look, but you don’t have the steadiest hand, just place a piece of tape on your nail leaving the tip exposed. Paint on the desired amount of glitter, then remove the tape for a clean line.
I love my new manicure, and I know the HerCampus TCNJ page on Pinterest will inspire you too! It’s amazing what you can do with a little Pinspiration!
