Christmas time is here! These Christmas songs are some of my all-time favorite that I never get bored of.  They have stayed relevant and loved by many 30+ years later, along with the more recent and enjoyable ones. It is nearly impossible to listen to these songs without feeling happy-go-lucky. Listening to these songs is sure to make you in the Christmas spirit if you aren’t already!
Last Christmas – Wham!
Last Christmas by Wham! is by far my favorite Christmas song to listen to and probably the first song I listen to at Christmas time.
Wonderful Christmastime – Paul McCartney
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Mariah Carey
Another classic is this song by Mariah Carey that is not as notorious as “All I Want For Christmas is You” Mariah Carey’s vocals are a force to be reckoned with and no cover can top the original.

I’ll Be Home for Christmas – Frank Sinatra
Christmas Wrapping – The Waitresses
“Christmas Wrapping” is a fun, upbeat Christmas song that tells the story of a girl who meets this guy in a ski shop. While they plan many dates, they can’t seem to get together. As the woman thinks she’ll be spending Christmas alone, she meets the guy in the market around Christmas and they finally get together! It’s a fun song/story that comes full circle in the end!
Step into Christmas – Elton John
Do They Know It’s Christmas? – Band Aid
This song is an under-served Christmas song that is a carried tradition that many musicians perform every year. My favorite version is performed by Band Aid 30, which includes musicians such as Boy George, George Michael, David Bowie, and Paul McCartney. The meaning behind this song is raising awareness for the ongoing crisis in Africa at the time.

What Christmas Means to Me – Stevie Wonder
Happy Xmas (War is Over) – John Lennon
John Lennon not only knows how to write amazing singles as a part of a band and as a solo artist, but he knows how to make a Christmas song that stands the test of time as well while also serving as a protest against the Vietnam War.
Little Saint Nick – The Beach Boys
Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree – Brenda Lee
Last, but certainly not least: the Christmas song that defines Christmas! From being featured in countless movies, namely Home Alone when Kevin McCallister pretends that he is not home alone and many others, this song is a song that anyone of any age has to love!
