As fall is coming around the corner and the weather is becoming cooler, it is important to adjust your wardrobe from summer to fall. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because fashion becomes darker, layered, and more relaxed. I have compiled a list of must-haves to keep in your closet all year round, but especially during fall.
Dark Jeans
A good pair of jeans can carry your entire wardrobe. If you are willing to spend many on clothes, I would suggest investing in a pair of jeans that will last. Try to find a pair that fits your body best. Dark wash and black jeans help to make an outfit more sophisticated. I would consider looking at Levi’s, Madewell, and Urban Outfitters for good jeans.
Black Boots
I am a believer that a pair of black boots can elevate almost every outfit. A good pair of boots can be expensive, but I think it is worth the investment if you buy a pair that can last and match most of your clothes. Here are some examples of brands with quality boots: Steve Madden, Doc Martens, and Jeffery Campbell.
Leather Jacket
Leather jackets are a staple piece in any wardrobe. I would recommend trying to thrift a leather jacket at a vintage store or Goodwill. I think buying a used leather jacket is best because a vintage leather jacket has a cooler look to it and you know it will last forever. Whether it’s a long leather jacket or a cropped one, this piece can add to any nighttime outfit.
Little Black Dress
Everyone needs a little black dress in their closet. Try to find a dress that fits your body best. A little black dress looks good on everyone and is an easy way to dress up an event.
Signature Jewelry Piece
I love the idea of having a signature jewelry piece that you wear with every outfit. I have these two white gold rings that I wear with every outfit, no matter the occasion. Invest in a nice necklace or a good pair of hoop earrings. Wear them with everything and make it your signature. My favorites are Gorjana and Mejuri.
