That Is, If I’m invited to enough events
In other words, keep those invites flowing everyone! ;)
If you’re rocking a costume on your own:
- Become a Brigerton Lady
- Take a step into history with an empire waist and those bangs!
- Take Severus Snape to a Sexy Level
- Because it’s too easy to throw on a black robe, add some fishnets and a black bob, and enjoy the conversation that ensues when you explain your costume to people!
If you’re partnering up:
- Scooby-Doo & Shaggy
- A classic, but it’s popular every year. You know what to do.
- Shaggy & Velma
- A little easier to pull Velma from your closet instead of a dog. And this is still an iconic duo.
- Sharkboy & Lavagirl
- For when you and your partner are very… hot and cold.Â
- Rapunzel & Flynn Rider
- A little romance via Disney magic. Plus, who doesn’t want to wear a braid that’s 10 feet long?
- Wanda & Vision
- The retro look from Wandavision is straight from the comic books. And, who doesn’t want to be a Marvel character, but with an 80’s spin?
- Vanessa & CandaceÂ
- Childhood TV shows live on. And this gives you and your bestie the opportunity to show off your “BUSTED” duet you’ve been practicing since middle school.
If you’ve got a group to dress:
- The Wizard of Oz Crew
- Dorothy & Glenda (the Good Witch) & Wicked Witch (of the West): The best trio for a group where everyone has their own aesthetic. You’ve got dark and edgy, bright and fluffy, and cottage core and girly.
- You can always add the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow to include more friends and/or boyfriends!
- Even include Toto if you’ve got your own four-legged friend!
Thank you for taking inspiration from me. Send me pictures on Instagram (@kenzilynn13) if you go with any of my ideas (because there’s no way I’m actually going to get to wear all 10!). Can’t wait to see what you come up with though, because we all know there are too many ideas to count.
