Time of the Sea

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCU chapter.

We have so little

The sun comes and goes

The moon shines as the stars wink

People come and people go

I’m always changing

Moving bringing something new with each hit

The chill of my current is never the same

People come and people go

New feet touch my surface everyday

I always miss the smiles and laughter

The pleasure and warmth I bring them

But people come and people go

The sun drifts behind me, casting wonderful colors over my surface

The moon shines down over me as the stars wink goodbye

I’ll bring pleasure to someone else tomorrow

Because people come and people go
