Every spring, we hold our Women’s Cafe Night where we honor awesome women doing awesome things on Temple’s campus. Recognizing these women inspires not only the ladies within our chapter, but outside of our chapter. We have handpicked these women based on their accomplishments, attitudes and bright futures. What do you want your peers and professors to say about you 10 years from now?
I think I would like to them to see me as someone that’s driven. Does good by her friends and her peers. And just someone they enjoy being around.”
What’s your biggest professional goal?
I would like to go to grad school someday down the road and hopefully get an MBA for business. And then I hope to remain working in a nonprofit or health care sector of PR. Ideally, me dream job would be to work in social marketing and do large scale public education campaigns.
Personal goal?
I’d love to be happy, I love travelling so I’d love to get an opportunity to continue to do that.
If you could state in just a sentence what you took away from your time studying abroad, what would it be?
I just think it’s one of the biggest and best growing experiences you can have. You’re in this new environment so you get to learn so much about yourself and just deal with these various experiences and just the opportunity to see other cultures, meet other people, see the world is just amazing.
How did you feel upon hearing that Her Campus Temple wanted to honor you for Café Night?
I was so flattered. I was really humbled to be someone that was chosen and to be in the company of these successful and wonderful women.
You’re graduating in just a month. What’s next?
I’ll be doing the job hunt. I hope to remain in Philly and working in PR. And getting involved in some of the PR professional organizations we have here.

Curious, enthusiastic, introspective
What/who do you turn to to alleviate the stresses of college?
I listen to music, I will go into the city and kind of clear my head. I’ll read.
You’re always smiling whenever I see you. How do you always maintain such a positive attitude?
I think it’s just remaining positive and the company you keep I think has a lot to do with that. I think I surround myself with people that are typically being positive and don’t bring me down.
Favorite moment at Temple?
When I got elected PRSSA President. That was a really awesome experience. I’d been involved since I was a freshman and that was a big goal of mine. So finally having all that amount to the presidency was really awesome.
What will you miss the most about your Temple days?
I will miss the welcoming atmosphere of campus. I’ll miss being so close to my friends and all my classmates. And I just love the type of person that goes to Temple. Someone that’s so driven and independent and wants to be successful and do that by themselves. So I only hope that I can interact with those kind of people out in the real world.
What do you enjoy the most about leading PRSSA?
I just like having an impact on what the club does and I like seeing the programs and events were holding I like to see that the members are really enjoying them and growing from them and appreciating them.
What woman do you idolize the most?
My mom.Â
