It’s officially December and time to ring in all the festivities and holiday cheer! One of my personal favorite ways of celebrating the holidays is through festive drinks. I’m a big coffee lover and specialty drinks are my absolute weakness. Here’s a list of some local shops to support and grab a coffee from to get in the holiday mood!
Medici Roasting | Multiple Locations
Peppermint Mocha
Always a classic, this drink features cocoa, peppermint, and espresso. To make it even more festive, it comes topped with a marshmallow and candy cane!
Gingerbread Latte
This latte features Medici Roasting’s homemade gingerbread syrup!
Winter Cookie
I love a good cookie flavored drink! This one is made with espresso, steamed milk, and homemade white chocolate and vanilla syrup. Also, it’s topped with sprinkles (which personally I think is always a plus).
Peppermint Hot Chocolate
For all my non-coffee people this is a great option! Also, you can never go wrong with a classic peppermint hot chocolate. It’s also garnished with a marshmallow and candy cane!
*Tip: Gingerbread it! – Medici Roasting also has their housemade gingerbread syrup and a nutmeg garnish available to add to any drink if you feel like customizing one!
Merit Coffee | Multiple Locations
Candy Cane Mocha
Full of rich chocolate and espresso, this signature mocha drink has candy cane swirled and melted together with steamed milk.
*Tip: Keep up with Merit Coffee’s Instagram page as they are announcing two more holiday drinks they plan to release on Dec. 5!
Summer Moon Coffee | Multiple Locations
Peppermint Mocha Moon Latte
Full of espresso, dark chocolate, peppermint, and Summer Moon Coffee’s signature moon milk, this is a classic holiday drink that can be enjoyed either hot or iced.
Roasted Chestnut Latte
Nutty, roasted chestnut flavors give this latte major sitting by the fireside vibes. You can also enjoy it hot or iced.
Christmas Cookie Latte
This new holiday drink features espresso, moon milk, and Christmas cookie inspired flavors. It’s then topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. I’ve actually had this a couple times and it’s my current go-to drink at Summer Moon Coffee right now! It’s served both hot and iced.
Gingerbread Cold Brew
Another new holiday addition, this gingerbread-spiced cold brew is topped with cold foam (made with their moon milk)!
*Tip: Moon milk is Summer Moon Coffee’s signature sweet cream! It’s one of my favorite things and some locations even bottle and sell their moon milk.

Peppermint Bark Latte or Mocha
Featuring both white and dark chocolate, this is another classic drink with one of my favorite pairings: peppermint and chocolate!
Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte or Chai
This drink not only sounds delicious, but features a unique flavor combination. You can get a latte or chai drink with rosemary steeped in brown sugar syrup!
Gingerbread Latte
Flavors of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and caramel gives this a sweet gingerbread cookie aroma!
*Tip: Brentwood Social House is also still serving their pumpkin pie latte!
These were just a few of the coffee shops that I came across serving holiday drinks! I mentioned above that Merit Coffee is releasing more drinks later on. Lucky Lab Coffee Co. and Jo’s Coffee are two more coffee shops also releasing a winter/holiday menu soon! Check out their socials for any more updates.
