6 Face Masks for When You Need to Treat. Yo. Self

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

3 words I live by : Treat. Yo. Self.

I like to live by these words, especially when it comes to skin care and face masks. It’s almost finals week (a.k.a HELL week) and I’m sure it’s gonna be a very, very stressful week. So why not treat yourself with these affordable face masks by pampering yourself with these luxuries?

1.  The Body Shop – Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

I bought this clay mask a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! It’s a 100% Vegan clay mask with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and and organic tea tree oil. It kinda stings at first, but it starts feeling minty after a while, and after rinsed off your skin will feel ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

2. Elizavecca – Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask

A SUPER FUN MASK THAT YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH!!!

This carbonated bubble clay mask will LITERALLY create bubbles when applied to your face! BUBBLES! I noticed my skin definitely smoother than before, and it got rid of a lot of sebum!

3. Mario Badescu – Super Collagen Mask

A rubbery face mask that will make your face feel firm! After using it, my face definitely feels cleaner and firmer. I’ve also noticed that my face has less redness compared to before.

Though some people may not like the smell of the mask – I would definitely recommend this mask!!

4. Formula 10.0.6 – Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask

A face mask that smells AMAZING and reduces breakouts! It leaves your face super smooth and you will definitely notice it glowing.

5. Skin Food – Black Sugar Mask Wash off

A black sugar exfoliating AND hydrating mask! It smells so so so good (please don’t eat it though) and after you wash/rub it off, your skin will feel SO SO smooth.

6. Innisfree – Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask

A clay mousse mask that goes on your face VERY smoothly. It smells very natural and earthly – you can also notice your pores shrinking! I recommended this to a friend, and she also said this mask was a 9/10 and that she will definitely make this purchase again
