I came to UT Austin not knowing anything about college. I wasn’t sure if I would make any friends or if I would even want to stay, but I am so grateful that I did. I have learned so many lessons and acquired so many blessings.

To my friends, I am so thankful for you all. I cherish the memories that we have made. Our bond means everything to me. Thank you all for being there when I needed it. I can now call you all family.

To the organizations that I joined: HerCampus, Occupy, and BSA, thank you for teaching me leadership and accountability.

To the long nights of studying and writing papers, thank you for teaching me time management.

To San Jacinto Dorm, thank you for giving me a family that will forever be known as Black Jac.

To UT Austin, thank you for including me in this institution and giving me a platform.

I can truly say I have had an amazing freshman year. This one is for the books!

Till next semester.

Love ya <3
