Although I love the in-person shopping experience, as a busy college student, I’ve grown to love online stores, especially Amazon. With a seemingly endless stream of exams and projects, this semester I turned to Amazon more than any other site for my wardrobe and beauty essentials — and, perhaps, for a dose of retail therapy. So without further ado, here are my recent favorite finds.
- Dream Pairs Platform Sandals. These are the perfect summer sandals with an affordable price tag, and they’re easy to dress up or down. I normally don’t buy shoes off Amazon, but these are sturdy and comfortable after even a long day of wear. They also pair perfectly with the next item on this list.
- Hocuo’s Lantern Dress. This dress is lightweight and flowy and keeps me cool but cute on warmer days. It’s also extremely versatile – depending on the shoes and jewelry you style it with, it’s perfect for upcoming summer events like attending a graduation ceremony, brunch with your friends, or a picnic in the park.
- Juicy Pang Jelly Blusher. Coming in at $7, this blush is super affordable for a college budget and comes in four colors for different skin tones. It’s a creamy, buildable blush that – once blended – results in a dewy, natural color.
- 12 Pack Large Claw Clips. With the current discount, this pack of claw clips is $12 for 12 clips – a fantastic value, considering that most claw clips on Amazon are sold in packs of four for that amount. Despite the cheap price, these claw clips don’t skip on quality: they’re just as durable as other clips on the market, and even my thick hair hasn’t managed to break one yet.
- Lemedy Padded Sports Bra. This top is a great dupe for Lululemon workout wear. The fabric is thick and buttery-soft, and the bra portion of the top is incredibly supportive even for larger chests. I liked my first one so much, I bought two more and now I wear them every time I go to the gym!
