Have you ever wanted to receive free gifts from brands?

Keep reading to hear how I got started.

While I’m not an influencer or have any media value through a ‘recognizable face’, I’ve been able to receive products from brands like Sol De Janeiro, Viktor & Rolf, Quantum Squares, Tiff’s Treats, and more.

There are two by-product programs I use and post about. I had to apply to receive these products and will have to continue to apply for each individual campaign they run.

Skeepers

Skeepers is an app you can download on your phone and apply for. You must have over 1k followers on either Instagram or TikTok in order to qualify. From here, you can apply to review products. If chosen, you’ll be sent a product in exchange for an honest review that you publicly post on your platform and leave up for at least 30 days.

Campus Trendsetters

Under Her Campus, there is a program called Campus Trendsetters. You have to apply to the program and from there you can apply for individual campaigns. For these gifts, you aren’t required to post anything but it is encouraged.

Outside of this, there are also long-term programs I enjoy. I’m actively on two long-term campaigns where I host events and create content for Sazerac brands and TurboTax. I was reached out to for these specific campaigns but The Campus Agency, Campus Collaborative, and Wasserman are amazing resources to look for and apply to long-term campaigns.

The ability to create content and willingness to post is the only thing any of these programs look for. I enjoy content creation and working through programs like this because I can get it done on my own time and make a little extra cash.
