Being in your 20s is when you are expected to have fun and enjoy your life, but it can also be incredibly stressful. This is because your 20s are a time of significant change and transition, where you are trying to figure out who you are and what you want to do with your life. This can be overwhelming and lead to what is known as a “quarter-life crisis.”
During this time, feeling anxious and uncertain about your future is not uncommon.
You may need help finding your place in the world and a clear direction or purpose. It’s important to remember that this is normal and that many people go through similar experiences during their 20s.
One way to cope with this stress and uncertainty is to find healthy habits or routines that help you relax and unwind. For some people, this might mean exercise or meditation. In contrast, for others, it could be something as simple as reading a book or listening to music.
Doing puzzles was a great way to de-stress and take my mind off my stressful worries. Specifically, doing word searches was helpful because it stimulated a part of my brain that I hadn’t used in a while. I also enjoyed the challenge and satisfaction of completing a puzzle.
What started as a simple way to relax and destress quickly became a full-blown healthy hobby. I began doing puzzles, including jigsaw puzzles, Legos, and sudoku. Not only did puzzles help me with my mental health, but the puzzles also improved my focus and problem-solving skills, which came in handy in school and work.
I recommend that anyone suffering from stress or anxiety look for puzzles to help them relax. It does not have to be too challenging, and starting with something small can be a great way to start. The important thing is to find something that works for you. It will be great if it helps you destress and relax with puzzles, exercise, or something else
