Even though we’re about to enter November, the weather makes it feel like June instead of late October. With highs in the late 80s to mid-90s, the more methods we have to overcome this heat, the better.

One particular way I’ve been getting through this weather is with a classic fruit smoothie. And with only four ingredients, you can make it too!

1. Grab your ingredients

All the ingredients needed to make this smoothie can be found at your local grocery store. These ingredients include:

  • Mangoes
  • Strawberries
  • Pineapple
  • Orange juice

Personally, I prefer to use frozen fruit, as I like my smoothies to be as cold as possible. However, fresh fruit will work just as well if you don’t have frozen fruit—just make sure to add ice depending on how cold you want your drink to be.

2. Throw it in the blender

Once you’ve gathered all your fruit, add it to your blender. I like to use a ½ cup measurement to ensure that all my fruits are in equivalent amounts. You can use a larger or smaller measurement depending on how much smoothie you want. Alternatively, if you prefer not to use a measuring cup, just make sure that all your fruits are in equal proportions.

3. add your orange juice.. and blend!

After you’ve added all your fruit, pour in about one cup of orange juice. Finally, blend everything together until you reach your desired consistency!

I’ve found this recipe to never fail me, especially when it’s 90 degrees outside and I don’t want to spend $8 on a small smoothie. Happy blending!
