Sneak Peek at Mariel Salcedo’s Post-Grad Life

 

Mariel is a graduating film major. She has produced the Texas Student Television program “Sneak Peek” for two years and spent last summer interning for Sony. Mariel is currently interviewing for post-grad jobs and looking forward to the future.

Her Campus Texas: What is your best dream?

 

Mariel Salcedo: I took a selfie with Barack Obama and he gave me all of the secrets in National Treasure. 

 

HCTX: What do you want to do with your life?

 

MS: I would love to produce movies or television, helping to make stories come to life. 

 

HCTX: If you were stuck on a desert island what would you need?

 

MS: Matches, a way to communicate with the outside world, and a big knife like Michonne has in Walking Dead. 

 

HCTX: What is your least favorite food?

 

MS: Anything Tex-Mex. I hate Tex-Mex. 

 

HCTX: What is the one thing you want to do before you die?

 

MS: I just want to be successful. I want to make movies or TV shows and make money doing what I love.
