Makeup is expensive. In college, most of us are on some sort of budget but we still want to buy little things for ourselves here and there. For girls, we use makeup for going out, formal events, or just because we want to look cute. Makeup gives a lot of girls confidence and just going through the process of putting it on can be very calming and satisfying. It’s tempting to want to buy all of the cute and colorful items we might see at Ulta or a drugstore but also equally frustrating when we don’t have enough money in our bank accounts. Luckily, there are some brands that are extremely cheap and high quality as well.
Here are some of my recommendations:
Elf Cosmetics- If you need a cheap primer or a cute lipstick that isn’t $20 then you’re in luck. Elf’s products cost as little as $2 for a variety of products ranging from makeup to skincare.
Wet n Wild- Here’s to one of the cutest and cheapest brands that does all sorts of fun collaborations. Would highly recommend their bronzers or highlighters which can be just $5.
NYX cosmetics- There is no brand that has a better liquid eyeliner. What makes this even better is that their eyeliners are extremely affordable as well. Eyeshadow palettes are a bit more pricey but the colors are so fun.
These are just a few great affordable brands for college girls who need new makeup but don’t want to go overboard with spending. Of course, there are many other brands that have affordable products as well but these are some of the most well-known and gear their products towards those who are college-aged.
