If you made it down the list, congrats! Here is how the voting works: signing in on the MTV website grants you 20 votes per day per category, resetting each day at 11 p.m. central time. You can vote for as few or as many categories as you want, and spend your 20 votes however you like: you can go all in on your favorites, or split it any which way! This will continue until Monday, April 17 so they can be counted and ready when the winners are announced at 7 p.m. central on MTV on Sunday, May 7.
Finally now that you’re an expert, here is the website to cast your votes! Whether you bookmark to vote every day as a dedicated fan or tune in out of curiosity on the day of the ceremony to see how it all pans out, it’s award season for your favorite TV shows and movies!
