A lot of us Swifties have been waiting for the Eras Tour to begin. Thankfully, after many painful months of waiting for this, the tour is in full swing. While some are still waiting for their concert date, I am one of the Swifties who have already attended. The Amazon show and the post-concert depression that came along with it is a topic I can cover another time, but as for now, here are some tips for those who will be attending soon.
Comfortable shoes
I know that it’s hard to create an outfit with a comfy style of shoes but trust me, you will thank yourself later. The concert is a total of three hours and you will be standing the entire time. On top of this, it is ideal to get to the stadium early if you plan on watching the amazing openers, getting merch, and just being situated on time for the show at 8:00. After all of this walking and standing, remember you still have to walk a far distance afterward especially if you plan on ubering.
REQUEST YOUR UBER AT A NEARBY BUILDING, NOT AT THE STADIUM
Obviously, everybody has the same idea- order an Uber after the concert. The issue with this is that it gets extremely congested with the many Uber drivers picking up other people. It can get confusing, and many uber drivers will cancel once they see the intense traffic. To avoid this, I recommend walking a bit further and having your driver pick you up at a location that is easier to get to.
Merchandise
If you want to get the merchandise from the concert specifically, then go ahead and wait 2-3 hours in line. However, many items will be sold out and there’s a high chance of your size not being available. To ensure that you get the ideal merch you have been wanting, I recommend ordering it online through the website. It is the same exact thing and is better since you have a guaranteed chance of getting exactly what you want. You’ll get to save time, and you will be fulfilled with what you end up with.
charge your phones to maximum battery
You will be taking pictures as soon as you arrive given that the excitement is intense. Especially with the amazing outfits, your phone will be in use. On top of this, there will be a ton of waiting time when you’ll want to use your device. Most importantly, you are going to want to document the entire concert because everything in this show is worth remembering. Once all of this is done, you will definitely need your phone to call an Uber, or to come into contact with a ride or others who joined you at the concert. If your phone runs out of battery quickly, I advise you to also take a portable charger.
have fun and live in the moment
It can be hard to contain yourself given that she is right there in the same building as you, but even though this concert is three hours, it goes by faster than you think. Do not waste any time with bathroom visits or any other activity that can distract you from the main event. Embrace it all, remember her voice, and most importantly, have the most fun ever. This tour is memorable, and remember that you are one of the few who survived the great war and will be in the building. Go out and have the time of your life!
