Okay, listen- eyeliner is hard. It can either be the most perfect cat-eye ever to be gazed upon by many, or it can be a disastrous mess that ends up with you cursing whoever decided to make it trendy.

Either way, there is one thing that everyone needs- a good eyeliner. There are tons of options out there that are easy to use and will enhance cat-eye abilities. So, here’s five options from different brands that are trustworthy, good quality, and will definitely be worth spending money on.

1.KVD Beauty “Tattoo Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner”

I literally swear by this eyeliner. For $22, this eyeliner is smudge-proof and long-lasting. It is easy to work with and has a felt tip to ensure that everyone is able to create a signature cat-eye look.

2. Colourpop “BFF Liquid Liner

Colourpop is budget-friendly with this $8 liquid liner. Available in fun colors to create different makeup looks, this eyeliner will stay on all day and carries tons of pigments to make applying easier.

3. Too Faced “Better Than Sex Easy Glide Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner”

This eyeliner is super easy to work with and glides on like a dream. Even for someone who has oily skin (story of my life), it doesn’t smudge or completely disappear throughout an entire day.

4. NYX “Epic Wear Liquid Liner”

For $10, this liquid eyeliner features a design that some say makes creating lines easier. With the handle that comes apart separately from the bottle, this may be a better option for those of you who are into graphic liners and want to create some unique liner looks.

5. NYX “Jumbo Eye Pencil”

If you’re not into the whole liquid liner thing, I got you. NYX has amazing eye crayons that come in so many different colors and are versatile in their use that won’t break the bank. Want to line your waterline? Go for it. Trying to create a soft, blended winged eyeliner look? No problem. I stand by these as a staple in my makeup collection.

Now that you have options, go out and try them! Practice makes perfect, and that’s definitely true when it comes to eyeliner.
