I was dared by one of my fellow HC writers
This wasn’t going to be a problem for me because I usually compliment people anyway. It was hard to continuously smile
because I, like many other young college women, have bitchface. I blame being a figure skater for almost a decade because
figure skaters can naturally be bitchy. I’m not saying that that’s a bad thing becase as the saying goes, bitches get stuff done.
After complimenting people while walking around campus I found it easier to stay smiling because I was making other people smile. If I noticed someone had a really cute outfit or looked nice I would let them know. I felt like I was making people happy and wanted to keep at it even though my dare was only for two weeks. I encourage everyone at Towson to compliment someone new each day and to smile, because smiling is contagious and so is complimenting, give and you shall recieve.
