Hurry up and grab your life vest & flashlight because this ship is going down! Tickets to SZA’s SOS tour are going fast but as long as you can swim to Ticketmaster you’ll beat the tide. The second leg of SZA’s tour encompasses her newest album titled SOS with a plethora of her older works intertwined into the show. Staged in the middle of the ocean, SZA takes us on an emotional journey through a collection of musical arrangements, dance and live scenery!
If you’ve been a longtime fan of SZA, then you know that she is a very beloved artist. Across almost all of her shows, you will find fans singing their hearts out to her catalog and many flashlights brightening stadiums worldwide. Before heading to an SOS concert near you, I’d recommend investing in a durable charger, memorizing your favorite songs and putting together your best and most comfortable outfits with your best friend for an unforgettable experience!
Despite being performed in some of America’s largest cities, little preparation is needed for a night with SZA. Once you’ve got your tickets, know your favorite songs and grab a friend or two, make sure to arrive at the venue at least an hour before the start of the show. In my experience traffic delayed my arrival time by thirty minutes due to congested streets, minimal parking garages available and public transportation. This is a rookie mistake to make at a concert goer so remember, arriving early is on time and arriving on time is being late!
If you plan on wearing a purse or bag remember that they must be small enough to fit through security’s guidelines. Definitely try to carry as little as possible when you’re on the go. As the show begins, don’t be afraid to sing your heart out! SZA makes note of all her fans no matter where you’re seated as you’ll see as she takes you on a shipwrecked rollercoaster.
Surprise! Make sure you stick to your seats! Sometimes SZA also pulls fans from the floor and other areas to meet on stage during and after the show!
No matter where you are in the world, the SOS concert is a pure treat for the tender heart. Whether you’ve drowned yourself in tears or laughed to the beat of the drum, SZA’s music touches all who are in tune with their emotions and sense of self. So let go, let loose, have fun and I’ll see you at the top of the shore once the concert’s over!
