2. What is Tucker Blair?
Tucker Blair is a needlepoint belt and accessory company started in Boston. Products range from flasks all the way to dog collars, and there are hundreds of different patterns and colors. They also do monogramming on almost all their products as well.
3. How did you become involved with the company?
I became involved last spring when a friend from BC recommended me. I was already familiar with the company and owned a few belts, so it was great to join the Tucker Blair team.
4. What does your role as an ambassador entail?
Social media is our biggest outlet for getting the name out there. My biggest role involves leveraging Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to promote different products. I also run tables during campus events to build a following.
5. Tell us about your new collaboration with KJP.
Recently Tucker Blair teamed up with Kiel James Patrick; a Rhode Island-based custom bracelet company. Combining Tucker Blair’s needlepoint styles and KJPs bracelets, they collaborated to form a new collection of needlepoint bracelets. The two New England companies started playing with the idea of joining on a product a while ago. It all finally came together when both set up summer shops on Nantucket last summer.
6. What are a few of your favorite items in the Tucker Blair x KJP collection?
From the new collection, the blue American flag bracelet is timeless and classy. I am from a seaside town, so the nautical flag is great as well. As for products outside the collaboration, all the fish flasks are and monogrammed belts are really cool.
7. Where, or how, can you purchase the products? Is there a trunk show coming to campus at all, or is it strictly online purchases?
As of now, all of the products can be purchased at www.tuckerblair.com, as well as their headquarters at 66 Beacon Street, Suite 221 Boston, MA.
