Trinity College’s SECS (Students Encouraging Consensual Sex – SECS),Trinity College SGA, and the Trinity College Women & Gender Resource Action Center are one again hosting Take Back the Night. This year’s theme is “Ending the Silence Together” and will continue the tradition of supporting survivors on campus while aiming to create a safer campus and eliminate rape culture.
The event is being held at Vernon Social this year from 6-8pm year with opening remarks from our very own Dr. Joanne Berger-Sweeney. There will be performances by The Quirks, Trinitones, Accidentals, Pipes, and the Dischords, with a set by Lolita directly after the event. There will also be speakers, testimonals, and a candel-lit show of support.
Come out and show your support to raise awareness for sexual assault prevention. You can contact Whitney Gulden ’16 (whitney.gulden@trincoll.edu) for more information about the event!
