Being a vegetarian in college is hard. With midterms, problem sets, and social events, it’s easy to let your healthy diet slip. For many, eating in college consists of ordering a greasy pepperoni pizza, grabbing a meatball sub from Hodge, or stuffing your face with chicken nuggets at late night. Usually, we pick whatever is fastest and will taste best when we give into stress eating. However, nutrition is incredibly important and should not be neglected in college. Luckily, Tufts has many vegetarian options available, especially at Dewick. Here are 10 easy vegetarian dining hall meals that will leave you feeling satisfied while avoiding the dreaded Freshman 15.

1.  Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients:

  • Plain or Vanilla Greek Yogurt

  • Granola

  • Blueberries & Bananas

  • Cinnamon

  • Organic Peanut Butter

2.  Bagel with Berries

Ingredients:

  • Whole Wheat Bagel

  • Cream Cheese

  • Raspberries

  • Honey- drizzled on top

3.  Harvest Salad

Ingredients:

  • Lettuce

  • Quinoa

  • Kidney Beans

  • Mushrooms

  • Corn

  • Peas

  • Honey Mustard Dressing

4.  Pesto & Tomato Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

  • Whole Wheat Bread
