10 Fall Instagram Posts You’ll Definitely See
As much as they make me cringe, basic fall Insta posts absolutely warm my soul. Here’s a list of some you’re sure to see this season.
1. Coordinated Halloweekend Costumes
Because Halloween becomes a full-weekend festivity in college, expect to 3-5 days worth of group costumes in your feed (P.S. submit yours to our costume contest using #hercostumetufts)
2. #Gameday
‘Tis the season of homecoming, football games and tailgates…and of course Instas of all of the above!
3. Studying In Bed + Drinking Tea/Cider/Coffee/Hot Chocolate + Fuzzy Socks
I’m all about cozy blankets and fuzzy socks (and studying from bed), but no way you were able to study in bed without spilling that mug of hot tea all over your cute new twin XL comforter.
4. Overly-Filtered Foliage
My favorite part about New England fall is the foliage. Please do Instagram the sh*t out of crunchy orange brown leaves (preferably during Golden Hour™) this fall, ‘cause this native Californian cannot get enough of them.
5. Sweater Weather
Fall fashion is so much fun because you literally get to wear leggings and cozy sweaters whenever you want. You’ll be sure to see Insta posts showing off new maroon sweaters, suede ankle boots, infinity scarfs, and flannels. Bonus points if you’re holding a pumpkin spice latte!
6. Pumpkin Patching
Another opportunity to show off your fall style: a pumpkin patch photo shoot.
7. Casually Throwing Leaves Into The Air
If you haven’t tried this at least once, you absolutely should. Or just live vicariously through your Insta feed…
8. Apple Picking
Apple picking at an orchard is a tried and true fall tradition, not to mention agreat group bonding activity. Pics or it didn’t happen!
9. Looking Down Over Tall Boots and Crunchy Dead Leaves
Self-explanatory?
10. Oktoberfest
Especially in college, with friends studying abroad in Europe, it’s impossible not to see pics of the infamous Oktoberfest, the world’s largest ~beer festival~. “Prost!”
