Though you may know him best as George Bluth Sr. on Arrested Development, Jeffrey Tambor will be coming to Tufts as this semester’s guest lecturer. His presentation called Performing Your Life will be as funny as the characters that he plays on T.V. are, while still motivating everyone to find their inner artist.
Most people know that Tambor is hilarious; from George Bluth Sr. to Sid Garner from The Hangover, he never fails to make us laugh. However, many people might not know that Tambor has been a teacher for forty years. He attended San Francisco State University, where he received a BA degree in drama. Since then, he has been passionately committed to his belief in the power of education. He has taught corporations, animators from DreamWorks, and drama students.
Tambor’s lecture is described as interactive and hilarious, with elements of stand-up comedy, lecture, and Q&A. It will motivate the audience to be introspective and promises to provide knowledge beyond one of his famous George Bluth statements: “You were just a turd.”
Jeffrey Tambor will be coming to Tufts on Tuesday, October 21st at 7 pm in Cohen Auditorium! Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 10th starting at 10:30 a.m. You can get your tickets at the Info Booth in the Campus Center or online at TuftsTickets.com. Tickets are $5 for Tufts students and $10 for guests.
Don’t miss out on your chance to see the amazing Jeffrey Tambor!
