I don’t know about you but I am already getting tired of Dewick’s dining, which is why Tufts location relative to Boston is so awesome! There are so many incredible restaurants and different ethnic foods in our fabulous city. Sometimes you need a break from school. Going into Boston for a bite to eat is the perfect way to escape from the hectic life of being a collegiate! Here are some great choices to satisfy all of your cravings…

  1. Sushi

Need a restaurant to take your parents to when they visit? Want to let them splurge a little and treat you to an incredible sushi meal? Oishii is a great choice if your answers to these questions were all yes. Zagat rates the food 28/30 and citysearch said it was the “best sushi bar in America” in 2005. The menu ranges from Foie Gras with Truffle to Real California Maki (http://oishiiboston.com). This place is a must.

  1. Italian

The North End is the place to go for Boston Italian. It’s a fun place to wander around and a great place to bring a date! If you’re into the bar scene, I’d recommend Benevento’s (http://beneventosboston.com) It has a great atmosphere and is always packed and lively! I love love love the pizza here. On the other hand, if you are looking for something a little smaller and quaint, I love Trattoria Il Panino (which is actually Italian-Mediterranean food). There is barely enough space for six tables in the whole restaurant which makes for a very cozy, intimate environment (http://www.trattoriailpanino.com).

  1. American

If you have something big to celebrate, this is the place to go. It is a little pricey to say the least but the view from the Top of the Hub is truly spectacular. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the Prudential Center, which makes it the ideal location to eat and enjoy the scenery. When it’s light out, you can see the entire span of Boston, and at night, the lights of the city twinkle and sparkle beneath you. The food is great too. The menu includes braised short ribs and pan-seared scallops. Absolutely mouth-watering (http://www.topofthehub.net)!

  1. Dessert

I hands down recommend Max Brenner if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. Max Brenner has a couple of locations around the country and I’ve always enjoyed my meal when I come here! This is the perfect restaurant to go out to with your girlfriends. The ambiance is really fun; you can dress it up or play it down. The dinner food here is great but the desserts are out of this world. From chocolate marshmallow pizza to salted caramel milkshakes to banana tempura fondue, whatever you choose will be a taste bud explosion (http://www.maxbrenner.com)!

Hopefully you can find time in your busy schedule to try some of these restaurants out! Good food can make your week so make sure you are going to the best places in town. Good luck and happy eating!
