Eating almost every meal in the dining hall can be boring and unhealthy. With these creative dessert ideas, you can make whip up your own healthy sweet treats in either of the dining halls or in your dorm room!
1) Coconut Chocolate Mousse:
For all you coconut lovers, start with a cup of vanilla Greek yogurt, and mix in a little Nutella. Add a little shredded coconut, and top with your choice of granola or walnuts.
2) Autumn Cinnamon Apples
If you’re looking for a light dessert, cut up a honey crisp apple, add a pinch of cinnamon, and drizzle with honey for a fall-themed treat.
3) Healthy Sunday Sundae
Instead of indulging in Sunday Sundae, make your sundae just as creamy and delicious by switching up a few ingredients. Instead of ice cream, mix a small cup of Greek yogurt with the toppings of your choice. One sundae idea: vanilla Greek yogurt with a drizzle of strawberry sauce, low-fat granola, and a small scoop of chocolate chips.
4) Frozen Banana Cream Sandwiches
For an easy treat you can make in the dorm, slice a banana, and prepare a mixture of Greek yogurt and either peanut or sunflower butter. With these two ingredients, create little “ice cream sandwiches.” with the bananas. Freeze until hard, and enjoy as a late night study snack!

6) Peaches and Cream
If you are looking for a more tart dessert, mix a small scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt with a chopped peach or nectarine with dried cranberries.
