What are your favorite things about Tufts?
General Gau’s Chicken and the water fountain by the Wren 240s
Â
What are you involved with on campus?
Pretty much just the soccer team
Â
How long have you played soccer?
Since the ball was about as tall as my leg
Â
What is your favorite part of being on the team?
Showering with Kyle Volpe
Â
How would you sum up your Tufts soccer career?
Lots of yellow cards
Â
What is your proudest accomplishment of the team thus far?
Making the NCAAs my sophomore year when the core of the team was still so young, and winning the regular season NESCAC title this year with a game to spare
Â
What’s the difference between this year’s team and past teams?
Apart from a lower GPA, I’d say there are just so many different guys contributing and so many different guys being leaders off the field
Â
What is your game day ritual?
Watch soccer, eat at Dewick, drink a lot of water, put on my left sock and left cleat before my right sock or right cleat, and eat a cliff bar
Â
What are your hopes for the team this season?
Obviously I hope we can win the NESCAC tournament, and I hope we make a miracle run in the NCAAs if we make it.  I’d also like to keep seeing different guys contributing, playing well, and winning games for us.
Â
As captain, what have you done to lead to the team to the #1 spot in the NESCAC?
Honestly, nothing special. We have so many leaders and such strong and committed upperclassmen that Sam and I don’t have to do anything special as captains
Â
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not playing soccer?
Shower with Kyle Volpe
