What the students have to say
On social life…
- “It’s a really good social life because I feel that you can spend time on any of the floors and you can meet people.”
- “Very social.”
- “So much laughter.”
On the rooms…
- “Some people fare better than others but they are definitely all a decent size. Especially compared to some of the other dorms.”
- “We have an ant problem.”
- “Basement rooms are bigger.”
On common spaces (lounges, kitchens, bathrooms)…
- “The lounge is decent but not fantastic. The couches are outdated.”
- “The lounge is okay. It could be better, it could be worse.”
- “I like the TV [in the lounge], but it’s not a great place to study.”
- “Bathrooms are so-so. Kitchen is functional.”
On being all freshmen…
- “It’s much easier to meet people and everyone’s really willing to make friends.”
- “So many freshmen live in Houston that it’s hard to ever feel isolated.”
- “I walked into the hallway at 4am to use the bathroom and there was this girl studying in the hallway like it was completely normal. That’s freshman year for you.”
