Fell asleep during an all-nighter, you turned your alarm off instead of hitting snooze, and now you’re awake with only twenty minutes to run to your first class. You don’t want to look like you just rolled out of bed and barely got an hour of sleep that night, what do you do? I’m here with five products to wake up your look and easily help fool anyone!
1. Bright lipstick
Bold lips are on trend anyway, but they also have magic powers. If you have a strong lip going on, the focus is dragged towards the statement of the lip and away from the rest of your face – namely your tired eyes. I’d be willing to say that a bold lip almost tricks the eye to think that you put effort into the rest of your face too (even if you don’t have any other makeup on!). My personal favorite is a bright pink lipstick, but a classic red always saves the day!
2. Lengthening black mascara
Long, luscious lashes open up your eyes to make them look bigger and more awake. The blacker the mascara, the greater the contrast between the whites of your eyes which will make them look whiter (also a trick to making them look more awake). When you add a bit of a curl, by twisting the wand up as you apply, the doe-eyed effect gains even more impact!

3. Shadow Pencils
Eye shadow pencils are a fast and easy way to get a swipe of color on your lids. I recommend one in a champagne or light bronze color for the ultimate wakeup effect. If they have a bit of shimmer, they’ll reflect the light from your eyes – again taking focus away from any dark circles. Often times, they already have primer built in so you can skip a step in your routine!

4. Golden Highlighters/Bronzers
Yes, I said bronzer, don’t be scared! I’m not asking for any of us to turn into the Jersey Shore here! But cheek bone highlighters or a pale gold bronzer (gold! Not deep brown!) with little flecks of glitter dusted across your cheek bones will not only add a bit of contour to your face, but it will light you up with an bright and healthy glow!

5. A citrus-based perfume
Sure, this isn’t a makeup product, but it’s still beauty based! If you’re dashing
(Perfume is a very personal thing, so I’m going to recommend brands rather than a particular product)
