1.If you could be one vegetable what would it be and why?

I’d have to go with an onion.  I love to cook, and the flavor of onion does wonders for a dish.  If you’ve made something and it tastes flat or incomplete, odds are what you’re missing is proper seasoning and onion.  I like to be a useful, helpful person who makes things come together.  Onions accomplish the task nicely.

2.Why did you start commenting on Tufts confessions?

I just decided one day to subscribe to the page and began commenting on people’s remarks.  It’s nice to help people and share some of the wisdom life has given me.  I won’t deny that it’s a convenient procrastination tool, though.

3.How has your new fame affected you?

I suppose more people know who I am now, and I’ve made some new friends.  Two people from the national news media seemed briefly interested in me one afternoon, but nothing materialized.  But it hasn’t affected me too greatly.  I’m still the man who I am.

4. How do you feel about the reputation you’ve developed due to Tufts confessions?

I imagine that I have developed a reputation, but I’m not quite sure what it is.  I try to say things that reflect well upon me.

5.If you could give the Tufts community one piece of advice what would it be?

So many of the posts I’ve seen on Tufts Confessions  about privilege, personal enmity, and alienation require but one response; treat people with dignity, with respect, tolerance, understanding, and common courtesy.  Be excellent to each other.  It makes the world a better place.

6.Anything else you’d like to share?

College is not the be all and end all of life.  A person in their early 20s has a lot of living left to do.  Enjoy your time here, appreciate the privileges you have, and be a good person and a good influence in the world.
