This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

As midterms approach and the stress piles up, chances are your healthy eating may take a hit.  Instead of reaching for the closest box of processed cookies, try this all-natural, super easy, and HEALTHY cookie recipe.  Made only from bananas and oatmeal, these cookies will not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but also provide much needed energy, potassium, and fiber to power you through your long night of studying, without the sugar crash.

Healthy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 large, very ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of quick oats
  • Any mix-ins you want to add! I suggest a lot of cinnamon and some chocolate chips, but feel free to throw in raisins, dried cranberries, walnuts, or any other spices that suit you!
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mash bananas and mix in oats and other ingredients
  3. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool

There you have it, my friends!  Who knew healthy could be so delicious?  Happy studying!
