Thanksgiving has already come and gone, and as always, Black Friday went something like this:
But now that it’s December, it’s finally appropriate to listen to Christmas music, and you can dance to Mariah Carey’s Christmas album like no one is watching.
After a week of no sleep and studying, you finally get through all of your finals and it’s a beautiful moment.
And everything only gets better when you remember that now that you’re in college, there are no assignments to do over the break!
You finally make it home, and you’re so excited to see everyone.
You hear there’s a party that some of your old high school friends are throwing, and even though it’s tempting to stay in, watch Netflix, and drink hot chocolate, you decide to go.
You’ve got a great outfit planned, and you think you’re going to look fantastic.
But nothing in your closet fits quite right.

After a week or so of relaxing at home, you realize that it’s Christmas Eve.
And your presents are totally awesome.
However, your little brother is not a fan of the super thoughtful present you picked out for him.
And when the family dinner begins, you find out you’re stuck at the kids’ table again.
But it doesn’t matter—this is Christmas and calories don’t count.
