Welp, it’s that time of year again – Halloween. There has been a lot of buzz around campus about what the most creative costume is going to be. If you’re like me, and don’t feel like buying a $50+ costume with batteries not included, you can make your own and guarantee that you will land in top 10 most creative costumes. Here are some fun ideas if you are stuck.
1. Candy Crush
I think this is funny for a lot of reasons.
(1) It’s an app,
(2) it’s dealing with candy and its Halloween – perf.,
(3) you can use it as a pick-up line (i.e., “I have a candy crush on you”).
This is SUPER easy to make. Literally need two pieces of cardboard, two pieces of cloth, and some paint. This costume is great because everyone will know what it is. (And if someone doesn’t know what you are they won’t say because everyone else will and they’ll look lame.)

2. Bacon and Eggs
Grab your closest friend and dress like everyone’s favorite breakfast duo. Who doesn’t like bacon and eggs? Answer: no one. This costume is great because if you happen to go to a chilly school (that’s a bummer), this costume will keep you roasty-toasty. The reason I say to grab your closest friend is because no one will think it’s cute if you’re just an egg wandering around alone. All yolks aside (k, last one) this costume is original, and will grab everyone’s attention.

3. Minions
This costume seems like it is going to be a huge hit this Halloween. It’s adorable and easy to make, so why not. Also, you have an excuse to talk like a minion all night. This costume is a little elaborate and looks like a giant banana, but if you feel like going all-out, do it. Another way to make a minion costume is to wear overalls, get a yellow beanie, some black pipe cleaners, some goggles, and a good imagination.
