I Survived Mardi Gras 2012

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

Congratulations Tulane, if you’re reading this it can only mean one thing–you’re still alive! Whether this was your
first Mardi Gras as a freshman just learning where the hot spots to find a porta potty are, or you’re a seasoned veteran celebrating your senior Mardi Gras, we’ve all officially survived the craziest time of the year. This weekend students flocked to Tulane from near and far–they stayed on our floors, our couches, maybe they even stole our beds. We caught so many beads we have nowhere to put them all. (Try a bead donation bin!) And we got basically no sleep–don’t worry if you slept through class this morning, I doubt you’re the only one. But most importantly, we had fun! See you next year Mardi Gras.
