Stitch Fix

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

Hey all you busy college gals! In need of a wardrobe update? Don’t have time between recovering from Mardi Gras and finally opening those books again? Have no fear! Stitch Fix is here!

You might be asking yourself, “Stitch Fix? What the heck is that?” Well have no fear; while you are here having a great time in New Orleans, I am going to be keeping you updated with the fun and exciting tech and online trends happening in the San Francisco area!

Stitch Fix was created by Katrina Lake, an undergraduate of Stanford, with an M.B.A from Harvard Business School. I think we can agree that this girl knows her stuff and it is no wonder she came up with the idea for such a great business. Stitch Fix is here to help any woman in a fashion funk, bind, or just in need of something new and exciting.

Here are the easy steps to getting your fashion fix!

1.     Visit the site, stitchfix.com, and create a profile with your sizes, style preferences, and price point.

2.     Wait for your package to arrive with five picked items just for you!

3.      Decide what to keep, and the rest you can send back in the pre-paid envelope included in your package.

4.     Check out online! You are not obligated to keep anything that they send you, but regardless of how many items you keep, you can pay and provide feedback online! The more feedback, the more your stylist can get to know you for next time.

Oh, and a special bonus, when you place your first order, you will receive a 25% discount! Happy shopping!
