Breakfast truly is the superior meal. Delicious at literally any time of day and simple to make, its often my most anticipated meal of the day. However, because I’m often ruhing out of my house on weekday mornings, mine usually consists of iced-coffee and iron-supplements. It isn’t till the weekend when I can truly enjoy homemade breakfasts or, even better, head out to a brunch spot to truly enjoy breakfast for the amazing meal it is. Here are 3 spots that get it right!
The Sugar Bowl Cafe
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited this restaurant. Minutes away from the U of A North Campus, it offers a wide range of both breakfasts and lunch/dinner meals, as well as desserts and beer. Their Chicken and Waffles is a must-try.
Earls
It wouldn’t be an Edmonton food guide without mentioning such a quintissential part of the Edmonton dining experience. Avocado lovers are thouruoghly catered for in the Avocado Super Brunch, however there’s options for every type of palate. It gets ridiculously busy sometimes though, so be prepared to wait during peak hours.
Cacao 70 eatery
A wide range of options, from super indulgent dessert-like breakfasts to savoury and hearty brunch meals; there’s something for everyone at this restaurant.
