On April 8, Apple released the update for iOS 8.3, with 300 brand-new emojis. Apple made good on their promise to provide more diverse emojis to its users. There has been more of a demand for more racially diverse emojis. Even some celebrities have taken to Twitter and voiced their opinions on the matter.
iOS 8.3 has more than 300 new emojis added to their keyboard. Several of the emojis are available in six new skin tones.
Their is even an option for a different Santa Claus.
Apple also added many more relationship- and gadget-related emojis. Same-sex relationship emojis like families with two mothers and two fathers are also included. The new gadget emojis includes an iPhone 6 and an Apple Watch.
32 more country flags have also been added.
