Fall Fashion: Braving the Cold

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

The weather has been cooling down, and quickly.  To me, this means it is time to start digging out heavier jackets from the back of my closet, and personally I love jackets.  I am always on the lookout for new ways to stay warm and here are a few of the trends to keep you warm as the weather gets cool this season!

  1. Cape:  A different shape to contrast with the classic style of the trench coat.

  1. Patterened:  Add some color to your fall and winter wardrobe with a patterned coat this season.

  1. Military: Another classic is military style jackets.  These never go out of style and the structure of the jacket flatters most body shapes.

  1. Puffer:  For cold and windy days when nothing else will do, puffer coats filled with down or other materials are sure to keep you warm.

Stay warm and fashionable this cool weather season collegiettes!
