The clothing company Ivory Ella recently celebrated their one-year anniversary.  This online clothing store is affiliated with Save the Elephants, a nonprofit organization that specializes in wildlife conservation of elephants.  Since the company launched on April 18th 2015, they have donated over $580,000 to Save the Elephants and other charitable organizations. What’s even cooler is that Ivory Ella is actually located in Connecticut- the company is run out of Mystic. Read on for a review of the company and some highlights from the online shop! Â
In an interview with The Odyssey last summer, one of the owners of Ivory Ella said, “Ivory Ella is an innovative startup company that was formed April 18, 2015, with the goal of creating ‘Good Clothes For A Good Cause.’ We work hard to provide quality shirts to our loyal customers in an effort to end poaching and save the remaining elephant population roaming the earth.”  Â
After being asked what their goals for the future are, they responded by saying, “We plan on continuing to grow Ivory Ella until it is a nationally recognizable clothing brand who has made a significant impact on the world. Since our launch, we have noticed a huge trend in new companies being formed with the goal of making a difference. It thrills us to see so many people trying to give back to their communities and the environment.”
Ivory Ella’s website is absolutely adorable. Plus, you can buy super cute clothes while helping to save the elephants at the same time – a perfect reward for online shopping!  Ivory Ella’s products are reasonably priced and 10% of their net profits go to Save the Elephants and other causes.  I have made multiple purchases from them and have been highly satisfied with each one.  The only downside to the company is that because of their limited stock, they tend to sell out of items fairly quickly. In honor of Ivory Ella’s birthday, here is a sample of their clothing that would make a great addition to any college girl’s spring wardrobe:
Pair this cute pocketed long sleeve shirt ($33.99) with denim shorts for the perfect outfit for those in-between temperature days that we never know how to dress for.
Â
Now that the weather is finally getting warm enough to dig out our short sleeve shirts, this easy mint colored T-shirt ($28.99) will quickly become a go-to.

Happy shopping, collegiettes! Â And happy birthday, Ivory Ella!
