We have heard it all before. Whether it’s the girls in the Union who groan and complain at the fact that (yet again, just like every other day) there is a line out the door of Dunkin Donuts or those girls begging their parents for a higher allowance to afford a new pair of boots, a North Face jacket or Alex and Ani bracelet. Girls here at UConn say some repetitive things that only we understand.
- “Should I wear a dress when we go out tonight?”
- “UConn just won’t be the same without Jim Calhoun.”
- “Is it raining today?”
- “There is NOTHING to do in Storrs.”
- “Don’t judge me, but I want to order wings two weekends in a row.”
- “I, like, live in the library.”
- “Wait, you don’t actually live in Connecticut?”
- “I just don’t have the patience for McMahon.”
- “I’m craving froyo so badly.”
- “The Ugg days are over.”
- “What is in the Classroom Building?”
- “There needs to be shorter lines for food in the Union.”
